Extra Crisp IPA - recipe from Gladfield + Lallemand.
Cold IPA with malted maize and Lalbrew NovaLager yeast.
A crisp adjunct lager malt bill coupled with tropical hops and clean lager fermentation...at IPA strength!
Cold IPAs, another ‘new-kid-on-the-block’ IPA style. Worthy of a permanent spot in the IPA pantheon? You decide.
This recipe is based around an uber-pale Gladfield grist which incorporates maize and wheat malt for a clean, minimally malty finish. Strapped to this simple malt base is a confection of tropical fruit forward hop varieties which boast big lime, mango, and pineapple characters. Fermentation with the new Lalbrew NovaLager strain is highly recommended - this newly released strain from Lallemand has a wide fermentation temperature range and has been bred to produce no sulphur and little diacetyl during fermentation, for easier lager brewing.
You will need to have the necessary equipment for all-grain brewing.
