100% Cider Apple concentrate from Central Otago Cider Apples.
This refreshing crisp apple cider is pure, fresh and smashable - a bit like Central Otago where these special cider apples are grown. Just add 1kg of dextrose, and 5-10g sachet of quality cider yeast (not included). Ferment for 6-14 days depending on temperature and yeast.
For a medium cider, add 200g of lactose. for a sweet cider, add 450g of lactose. For more recipe options, see below.

Yeast required
5-10g of any cider yeast is suitable. For a clean, crisp cider use AB-4. For a balanced cider use AB-1 or MJ Cider Yeast. For sweeter, fruitier ciders, use AS-2 or TF-6.
Flavour addition options
This cider is delicious as it is, but you can add fruit or a flavour sachet to create your favourite fruit cider.
Equipment required
A 30L fermenting container with airlock, and a large stirring spoon or paddle, carbonation drops, bottles and caps (or a keg and CO2). Cleaner and sanitiser.
