Imperial Stout - All-Grain Recipe

Imperial Stout - All-Grain Recipe

This is a big, dark ale with definite roasty and fruity notes. It has a low, dark tan head and a rich, malty aroma. The high alcohol content provides a nice warmth - great for sipping on a cold winters’ night. This beer will improve with age.

This recipe includes the malts, hops and yeast to brew this beer. You will need to have the necessary equipment for all-grain brewing.

- Roasted Barley
- Wakatu Hops
- Liberty Hops
- Golding Hops
- Dextrose for priming bottles (optional)

Note: This includes two sachets of Danstar Nottingham if this is your yeast selection. If you'd prefer the White Labs liquid yeast option, we recommend making a yeast starter to ensure a sufficient quantity of yeast for this high gravity brew.
