Does BrewShop have physical retail stores that I can visit?

No, we are an internet-only shop which helps keep our overheads down so we can bring you the prices and range of products in stock that we have.

Do I need to create a BrewShop account before I can order?

No. Simply use the "Checkout as guest" option when you go to the checkout if you don't want to create an account. Additional features - like the ability to view your previous orders, reorder products, or create a wishlist - all require you to create an account first.

When will my order be dispatched?

Orders are normally dispatched the same day or next business day. You will receive a notification email once the package has been dispatched with a courier tracking number. For orders with backordered items or delayed orders, we will contact you with an estimated date for delivery.

What payment methods do you accept?

Currently we accept payments via credit card (Visa, Mastercard) through DPS and by direct deposit to our back account.

How accurate are the alpha ratings on the hops?

We indicate the alpha rating that is provided by the supplier but these ratings vary between batch and seasons so this is a general indication only. The packet of hops you receive will have the actual alpha rating for the hops you've purchased.

If Brewshop doesn't have the product I'm looking for, can I request it?

We are constantly expanding the range of products we offer. If we don't have it, ask us by completing the contact form and we'll see what we can do.

How do the gift certificates work, and do they expire?

Once you purchase a gift certificate you will receive a gift certificate code. This code needs to be entered into the coupon field within the shopping cart. You can keep using the gift certificate until the value has been used up or the certificate expires - you do not have to use it all in one purchase. Unless stated, gift certificates are valid for 180 days.

Does the courier deliver on Saturday?

Short answer: no. In certain situations we will request a Saturday delivery with our courier provider but this is not the norm.

What do I do if my package arrives damaged?

Please contact us immediately if any of the items you purchased arrive damaged. Please see our terms and conditions for more information on returning products.

Who are you and why are you being so nice to me with this website?

Shucks! We are just dedicated brewers who are tired of poor attempts at ecommerce for home brewers in NZ, and feel that buying online can be a much easier and better experience.
